Genetic nature of language is undoubtedly clear, and its components can be found in various species. Our closest relatives, humanoid apes, undoubtedly possess tools for thinking and communication in basic forms. But only our species proved capable of harnessing an ancient gene to perform the complex task of transmitting information through sound waves, much like songbirds do. This remarkable ability sets us apart, allowing for the intricate dance of verbal and written expression that defines human language.
